Oxford Brookes University is an innovative and high quality education provider. It needed an eye-catching format for its annual report, reflecting the direction of the organisation while presenting a lot of information in a small space. We drew on the University's values – learning, growth, research, partnership – and took a lateral approach to illustrating them, using images from nature to bring the document alive. Working within the organisation's house style, we created a layout which included large, one-off images and gave text room to breathe.
