South London Swimming Club (SLSC) hosted the World Winter Swimming Championships at Tooting Bec Lido in February 2008. The championship was an amazing three days celebrating cold water swimming, with 680 competitors from around the world. Since then the Club has hosted the UK championships a further three times.

SRD designed the event identity and all the materials including medals, certificates, programme, swimming caps and even beer labels. The design used the SLSC logo as its starting point and was inspired by the icy conditions these swimmers relish.
