Working closely with Yael Hodder at the Soil Association, we updated its organic certification mark to communicate more clearly on packaging. We changed the typeface to a clearer, less condensed font and dropped the word 'standard' while emphasising 'organic' in bold. The symbol in the middle was reduced slightly in size. These seemingly small changes have resulted in a mark that is much easier to read and says exactly what it is meant to say – 'this product is organic' and the message comes from an organisation you can trust, the Soil Association.
