The South London Swimming Club is a members’ club run by volunteers whose home is Tooting Bec Lido. They swim outdoors all year round and encourage people to share in these pleasures. They also work to preserve outdoor swimming pools for future generations.
Susan Rentoul has been a member of the South London Swimming Club for over 15 years and volunteers her services for all the the Club's design needs.
Royal College of Nursing
The Royal College of Nursing is a membership organisation and trade union with over 432,000 members in the United Kingdom. It was founded n 1916.
Susan Rentoul Design has worked with the Royal College of Nursing for over 20 years working on all sort of projects from Congress branding to publications and campaigns.
Orme is one of the UK's leading specialist retail property advisers, with a unique understanding of the UK's premium fashion locations and a reputation for providing straight, honest advice.
The company came to Susan Rentoul Design to build on its existing corporate identity, update all its materials, design property brochures and create a fresh website. Orme's website was created in collaboration with Eyes Down.
Streatham Cemetery is actually in Tooting. It is a beautiful open area with a rich local history and lots of wildlife. The Cemetery was rather unloved so a group of people got together and formed the Friends of Streatham Cemetery.
This grass routes organisation needed a logo so Susan Rentoul Design ran a couple of creative events in one of the Cemetery's chapels to bring ideas from the Friends together. We then created a logo that encompasses the wildlife and the gothic architecture of the twin chapels in one marque.
A Lotus Rises
A Lotus Rises is a women's swimming collective and swim blog for women who love open water. Started by Alice Gartland, A Lotus Rises has big ambitions and Alice has bags of enthusiasm for the project.
Transition Town Tooting is one of a growing number of grass roots organisations looking at how their area can be resilient to the predicted peak in oil supplies and to climate change.
Because of the group's voluntary nature, Susan Rentoul Design couldn't produce strict or complex branding guidelines – the logo and the guide that went with it had to be sent out to fend for themselves. We designed a robust logo format and guidelines which still convey the basic principles of the Transition movement.
The British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association, or BAMA as it is more commonly known, is an active membership organisation. They lobby parliament, disseminate best practice and create a networking space for their members.
Susan Rentoul Design creates publications, campaign branding, conference materials and much more for BAMA.
Cubic Retail is a start-up retail property consultancy that focuses on giving its clients clear, proactive and commercial advice. They work with both investors and retailers to find ways to release value from the properties they own and occupy.
Susan Rentoul Design created a modular, colourful logo that will be adaptable for Cubic Retail as it grows.
LONDON BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION
The London Beekeepers' Association (LBKA) is a volunteer-run members' organisation and registered charity that represents the interests of beekeepers and urban beekeeping in the central London area. They provide education and advice, promoting responsible bee keeping and raising awareness of the issues affecting bees.
Susan Rentoul Design tidied up their logo and helped LBKA with their publications on helping honey bees and spotting London's different types of bees.
MICK AUDSLEY WEBSITE
Mick Audsley is one of the leading feature film editors in Britain and the United States. He has collaborated on numerous projects with celebrated directors including Stephen Frears, Terry Gilliam, Mike Newell and Neil Jordan.
The Happy Museum Project looks at how the museum sector can respond to the challenge of creating a more sustainable future. It provides a leadership framework for museums to develop a holistic approach to wellbeing and sustainability.
Susan Rentoul Design created the Happy Museum branding, which included the logo, display banners, report covers and their website. See the Happy Museum website here.
#Plank4Parkinsons campaign challenges people in the UK to hold a plank for one minute, in the hope of raising awareness of the symptoms of Parkinson's, and helping Parkinson's UK accelerate research into better treatments and a cure.
Sprout is a community arts centre which encourages local interest and involvement. It is a loose collaboration of local artists who show their work and run exciting workshops for the community in Furzedown.
Susan Rentoul Design created a logo based on an artist's wire sculpture. The sculpture and the logo suggest growth and energy – the bedrock of the community spirit behind Sprout.
The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) improves the lives of people who use care services by sharing knowledge about what works. They are a leading improvement support agency and an independent charity working with adults’, families’ and children's care and support services across the UK.
Susan Rentoul Design has worked with SCIE for many years, working on their branding, publications, exhibition design and campaigns.
